Reliability Audit RFP

The West Virginia Public Service Commission has ordered Appalachian Power Company and Wheeling Power Company (the Companies) to undergo a reliability audit of their West Virginia distribution system. To that end, the Commission is requiring the Companies to publish the following RFP seeking proposals from audit firm candidates. Proposals must be submitted to the Commission’s Staff at the email address listed in the RFP by August 15, 2025. The Commission will select the auditor by September 1, 2025.
