Green power is electric energy that is generated by using renewable resources. Many
of our customers have asked us for a way they can help support renewable energy
through their electricity use. Now customers may support the generation of green
energy by voluntarily signing up to participate in a Green Pricing Option.
Appalachian Power's Green Pricing Option differs depending on which state you live
in. Currently, the program is only available in Virginia and West Virginia.
