Archie Pugh is Vice President for American Electric Power's (AEP) Transmission Field Services Group, Transmission East. He previously served as managing director.
As vice president, Pugh is responsible for safe and reliable operation, construction, storm recovery and maintenance activities for the eastern portion of the company's transmission system.
A graduate of Virginia Tech, Pugh has worked at AEP since 1992. He has also held other positions in transmission engineering and field services, including project management director and transmission line engineer.
